The Simply Delicious blocks of the month are designs inspired by botanical prints from the 1800’s. This twelve block kit contains only the appliqué fabrics and doesn’t contain the background fabrics. We have duplicated the appliqué fabrics as closely as possible and many are exact matches. We have a limited supply of block kits as this program was discontinued by Piece ‘O Cake and we purchased the last patterns available. The blocks are finished 16” x 16” and the 2” x 2” scrappy border is easily strip pieced.

This is a great Folk Art Angel quilt that consists of machine piecing and hand appliqué.  There are eleven adorable angels for peace, hope, joy, charity faith and love.  There are also three dancing angels, a sitting angel, a garden angel, and two baby angels.  These blocks are very scrappy and wonderfully pieced with half square triangles and Saw Tooth Stars.
