Welcome to Material Possessions Quilt Shop and thank you for the opportunity to introduce our shop to you. We are located in Southern California, just 20 minutes south of Disneyland. We carry fabric from all major fabric manufacturers and specialize in ethnic fabrics such as Japanese, African, and Indonesian fabrics. We have over 200 quilts on display for your viewing pleasure and “spotlight” a featured quilter monthly. We were honored in 1999 to be a featured shop in Quilt Sampler magazine. Then we were selected to be featured in the Best of Quilt Sampler 2007, the editor’s choice of 20 favorite quilt shops. Material Possessions was established in 1995 and grew from 3,500 to 9,500 square feet. In our last expansion we added a “Hoffman room” that is filled with one of the largest selections of Hoffman batiks and printed goods. For inspiration there are dozens of beautiful Hoffman quilts on display that were formally displayed at Quilt Market. Our two spacious classrooms host over 100 classes taught by 22 teachers every three months. We offer a wonderful selection of books and patterns that cover the spectrum of quilting, art quilting, doll making, needlearts and everything in between. As a full service quilt shop also we carry all of the latest gadgets, notions, quilting tools, and have a great affordable gift items.. The shop is brimming with color and creative ideas. We have the ability to keep it fresh and new with four incredible sales a year. We pride ourselves in offering high quality products, excellent customer service and guarantee 100% satisfaction. |
